What To Expect When You Visit

A friendly, welcoming and casual atmosphere
A volunteer will assist you in assembling your hamper.
If you have special dietary restrictions (ex: Gluten-free, dairy-free, etc) please inform your volunteer.
We provide a food supplement substantial enough to assist every member of your household for 2 weeks.
Your visit will remain private.

We prioritize helping residents of Melville, Fenwood, Ituna, Balcarres, and similarly located communities.

Strict Confidentiality

Whatever your reasons for seeking help from us, your identity will remain anonymous. We have a strict policy of "whatever is said within the walls of the food bank, remains there."

First Time Visitors Must Have An Appointment

Before your first visit to the Melville Food Bank you must set an Intake Appointment by filling out the Initial Intake form HERE or by speaking to a staff person at (306) 728-4955.

On you first visit, you must arrive a minimum 45 minutes prior to closing time. This guarantees enough time to complete the Initial Intake Appointment and provide you with food.
